Me, Myself, and I - POEM

 Me, Myself, and I

Me, Myself, and I,
three parts that stand nearby.
Different faces, different views,
yet all live for what is true.

One side dreams both day and night,
argues, wonders, full of sight.
It builds worlds that never rest,
lost in thoughts it knows the best.

Another side thinks in clean, straight lines,
counts the steps and reads the signs.
Cold but strong, it plans and sees,
choosing sense and certainty.

The last side stands to keep control,
holding balance of the whole.
Sometimes calm, sometimes fast,
wants things done and wants them fast.

Me, Myself, and I,
three voices passing by.
Time moves on without a cry,
all unite to breathe a sigh.
